The Rialto. Raleigh’s Oldest Movie Theater.

In the late '90s, I found my home under the electric blue glow of The Rialto's marquee. It was a place of liberation where weirdos, freaks, nerds and gees came together to revel in the crowd-participation-driven cinematic masterpiece, The Rocky Horror Picture Show. A long (and still!) standing Friday night at midnight tradition in Raleigh.

Now, with Hayes Permar at the helm, The Rialto is more than just a theater—it's a revitalized icon, a beacon of community, and a treasure trove of memories waiting to be made

I could not be more proud to be a part of this next chapter for the theater, and I'm very much looking forward to celebrating the past, present, and future of The Rialto, where every screening, every event, and every moment is a testament to the power of cinema and community.
